Terms of Service

01 Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Travel Deck apps and services. By creating an account or using Travel Deck, you agree to these Terms. Travel Deck is operated by an independent developer based in Brazil.

02 Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email and devices secure. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You must meet the minimum age in your country to use Travel Deck.

Travel Deck sends notifications about your trips and invitations. News and tips are opt-in and can be switched off at any time in the app's notification settings. Delivery depends on your device, your operating system, and third-party services, and cannot be guaranteed.

03 Acceptable use

Use Travel Deck lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Upload malicious code or scrape the service at scale.
• Resell or commercially exploit the app without our written permission.
• Use trip invitations to send unsolicited or bulk mail.

04 Your content

The places, notes, ratings, visits, tags, photos and trips you create are yours. You grant Travel Deck a limited licence to store, process, and display that content back to you — and, for a trip you share, to the people on that trip — so we can operate the app. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it. When you delete content or your account, we remove it as described in our Privacy Policy.

05 Trips & collaboration

You can invite other people to a trip and give each of them a role. What a role can do is fixed:

• Owner — created the trip. Only the owner can invite people, change someone's role, remove a member, edit the trip's name, dates, cover or destination, or delete the trip.
• Editor — can add, move and remove places on the trip and edit its notes, but cannot change the trip itself or manage people.
• Viewer — can read everything on the trip and change nothing.

Any member other than the owner may leave a trip at any time, which ends their access to it. An owner cannot leave their own trip; deleting it is the only exit, and deleting it removes it for everyone.

Invitations are personal, expire if they are not accepted, and are rate-limited. Only invite people who have agreed to hear from you — an invitation sends them an email.

Anything you add to a shared trip is visible to everyone on that trip, and stays with the trip if you or they leave it. Share accordingly. We are not responsible for what people you invite do with what they see there.

06 Provider data & attribution

Travel Deck shows place details, maps, photos, opening hours, and destination suggestions supplied by Google. That data may be incomplete or inaccurate and is subject to Google's own terms and attribution requirements. When you open directions, they open in a separate maps app on your device (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze). Opening hours and place details are estimates — confirm critical details (especially closures and reservations) before you rely on them.

07 Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Travel Deck is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that opening hours or place information are accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Deck and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your reliance on plans, place data, or directions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

08 Termination

You may stop using Travel Deck and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted and liability limits) will survive.

09 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. If you keep using Travel Deck after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

10 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Brazil unless local law requires otherwise.
